1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the JurisAI mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gweens Craft ("we," "us," "our"), a business registered in Kenya.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
JurisAI is an AI-powered legal information tool that provides access to Kenyan statutory and constitutional law. The Service allows users to:
- Browse the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and nine (9) major Acts of Parliament.
- Submit natural-language questions and receive AI-generated answers citing specific legal provisions.
- Bookmark and save legal clauses for later reference.
- Access premium features through a paid subscription or credit bundle.
Legal content is sourced from Kenya Law (kenyalaw.org), the official government legal repository operated by the National Council for Law Reporting.
3. Not Legal Advice
JurisAI provides legal information, not legal advice. Nothing in the Service constitutes or should be construed as legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of the Service.
The AI-generated answers are informational and may not reflect the most recent amendments, court interpretations, or apply accurately to your specific circumstances. For matters requiring professional legal opinion, you should consult a qualified advocate admitted to the Roll of Advocates in Kenya.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with others.
- Notify us immediately at jurisaisupport@gweenscraft.co.ke if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
5. Free Tier and Premium Plans
5.1 Free Tier
All registered users receive five (5) free AI queries per day at no charge. Free-tier users can browse all legal content and save bookmarks locally on their device.
5.2 Premium Plans
Premium plans (monthly subscriptions and credit bundles) are available for purchase within the app. Premium users receive unlimited AI queries and remote bookmark synchronisation across devices. Specific plan details, pricing, and features are displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
6. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers — Paystack(card payments) and Safaricom M-Pesa (mobile money). By making a purchase you also agree to those providers' terms and conditions.
All prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES). Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable once a premium plan has been activated and AI query credits have been consumed. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at jurisaisupport@gweenscraft.co.ke.
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the app; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Kenyan law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application.

AI-generated summaries and answers produced by the Service may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our written consent.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available"without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
